Goal: Develop a model for evaluating standard of cover based on risk and structural characteristics for county fire districts to allow the county and districts to better plan staffing, equipment positioning, and long-term needs for county fire.
Available Data/Assets: Planning, Inspections, Tax and GIS data including structural plans and imagery, as well as fire and medical call volume and response data from the county’s 2019 fire study, CAD dispatch system, and possibly fire incident records from individual fire departments.
